An Wang's Book ("Lessons")

Description
In 1984, An Wang and his family owned about 55 percent
of the companies' stock, and Forbes magazine,
estimating his net worth to be around $1.6 billion.
An was the 5th richest American at the time.
Wang wanted to retire from being the head of running his company in 1986.
he wanted to hand this power to his son Fred Wang.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, An was later forced to
remove his son from the company.
An Wang also helped to found many different places (schools, buildings) ,
and also donated to many causes, which resulted in him having
places being named after him.
An Wang recieved the prestigious Medal of Liberty in 1986.
He was placed ino the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 1988.
The An Wang Middle School in Lowell, Massachusetts, is named after him,
as is the An Wang Professorship of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at Harvard University
the An Wang Professorship of Computer Science
at Brown University, and the Wang Professorship of Cognitive and Neural Systems at Boston University, held by Stephen Grossberg.
An Wang died of cancer in 1990. His wife
, Lorraine Wang ,died on March 1, 2016.They had three children.
